1st Annual Green Today fair (December 2010): Visitors to the Green2 magazine booth and the Green Today exhibitors enjoyed Katie's Cookies at this super cool and posh "green" conference. StartupWeekend Amsterdam (September 2010): StartupWeekend is a global phenomenon of entrepreneurship! It is a 54-hour all-weekend event of pitching ideas, forming teams, fleshing out ideas, refining concepts and building companies...all in one weekend. I pitched the Katie's Cookies idea of offering delicious organic cookies online as gifts and 4 terrific fellas signed on to work on the project throughout the weekend - Tibi, Glenn, Erik, and Edward. These guys were so encouraging and helped bring an idea to reality, especially through the use of technology. One of the prizes given out at StartupWeekend is the "Wow!" Factor Award which we WON!
